Our Cleaning Procedures
At Nest and Bloom, your child's health and safety are our top priorities. We follow consistent and thorough cleaning protocols to keep our space fresh and germ-free throughout the day.
Hourly Cleanings:
All toys and play equipment are wiped down every hour or after group visits using Force of Nature cleaner. It's a powerful disinfectant that's also safe for little hands right after cleaning.
The Yuck Bucket:
If a toy needs immediate attention, just drop it in our "Yuck Bucket." We'll sanitize it right away so it's ready for play again soon.
End-of-Day Sanitation:
Each evening, we sanitize the entire play space using Slorox Disinfecting Mist - Free & Clear, giving everything plenty of time to dry and be safe for the next day's friends.

Force of Nature
Force of Nature is a cleaning system that converts tap water, salt, and vinegar into a powerful, multipurpose cleaner, deodorizer, and disinfectant. It uses electrolyzed water technology to create hypochlorous acid (HOCI) and sodium hydroxide, making it effective yet gentle. The solution is EPA-registered as a disinfectant and sanitizer, killing 99.9% of germs, including viruses and bacteria. It's designed to replace multiple cleaning products and is safe for use around children and pets.
Clorox Disinfecting Mist
Clorox Disinfecting Mist Free & Clear is a plant-based, aerosol-free disinfecting spray designed for use around kids, pets, and food when used as directed. It kills 99.9% of viruses and bacteria, including the COVID-19 virus, on hard, non-porous surfaces. It is formulated without added fragrances and dyes and is safe for use on various surfaces, including hard surfaces, fabrics, and even soft surfaces like pet beds and stuffed animals. The continuous sprayer creates a fine mist for even coverage, and no rinsing is required for most uses.
